Waste of Money
Complete waste of money. This item does not screw onto water bottles. It does not even have any threads molded into it, it simply slides on the water bottle. No positive lock at any point. If something slides on, what is to prevent it from sliding off? Especially when squeezed? I would not trust this with any child of any age, unless you want the contents of the bottle emptied out onto their shirt and laps. In which case, why not just unscrew the cap and give them the water bottle as is? Very poorly designed product. And lets not even get into the BPA and plastic waste issues. Save your money, look else ware.
Not exactly what we expected
I ordered this item after my daughter dumped an entire bottle of water over herself at the park and another mother recommended it. It does fit many different bottle tops which is great, we use it with Minute Made juice and Poland Springs mostly but it would fit others. It does not screw onto the bottle tops like we expected, it just kind of sits in there securely. We haven't given it to our daughter to do on her own yet, so I don't know how much of a problem this will be but I can only imagine the first time she squeezes. :) Overall this is an improvement over simply handing her the bottle but I'm not sure it is exactly what we were looking for. A great concept though.
